Recommended Packing List |

This is a suggested packing list… it is not entirely inclusive but it’s a start!
- Airline Ticket- (and return ticket)
- Passport- you can no longer travel to Jamaica without a passport.
- Prescription & Non-Prescription Medication- Enough for your entire vacation plus two additional days (just in case). It is important that you carry your prescriptions in their original labeled containers.
- Money!! Cash, credit cards, cash card and/or travelers checks. Bring cash in small denominations (i.e. US $1’s and US $5’s). Larger restaurants, shops and hotels will have change for large denominations, however smaller vendors (i.e. small restaurants, small shops or vendors) will not necessarily have change for large bills.
- SUNSCREEN!!!
- Swimsuits- two or more if you have them.
- Beach Towel(s)- Thin beach towels are best since the think ones dry very slowly in the humidity.
- Aqua/Water Shoes- are perfect for excursions to waterfalls or river tours. They are also helpful for swimming or walking through rocky areas.
- Beach Cover Up- Sarong, t-shirt, etc.
- Sunglasses
- Shorts
- Tank tops and t-shirts
- Comfortable sandals or walking shoes
- Socks
- A Pair of Light Pants or Jeans- just in case it cools down at night.
- A Light Sweater or Jacket- again…for those cooler nights.
- Underwear- please, don’t forget your underwear.
- Camera- with extra batteries, camera charger and extra film.
- Aloe- just in case you decide not to use the sunscreen….
- Bug Spray
- Toiletries- Including (but not limited to): tooth paste, tooth brush, dental floss, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, cosmetics, feminine products, hair brush, hair styling products and birth control.
- Over the Counter Medicines- for those unexpected issues….Pepto Bismol, Anti-ich cream, Asprin, etc.
- Beach Bag- or backpack for day trips or to carry to the beach.
- A Dress-Up Outfit- or two. Dressing up is definitely not a must but it is fun when you are going to a nice restaurant or out to a nightclub.
- Travel Alarm Clock- Just in case you have to get up for a tour or for a plane.
- Small Purse- for those times you don’t want to carry a lot.
- Book or Magazine- to enjoy on the plane or on the beach.
- Travel Journal- to document your trip.
- Small Calculator- to help you quickly calculate the exchange Rate
- Emergency Contact Numbers- kept in your wallet just in case.
- Credit Card International Contact Numbers- kept in your wallet just in case.
- A Copy of your Passport- kept in your wallet just in case.
- Music- I-POD or portable CD player for travel or beach time.
- Underwater Camera
- Snorkeling Equipment
